How to participate in RedLAC's 15th Assembly
Yellow fever certificate:
Participants comming from high risk countries require a yellow fever vaccine certificate to travel to Costa Rica. The high risk countries are:
SUB SAHARIAN AFRICA: Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leona y Sudan.
SOUTH AMERICA: Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela.
CARIBBEAN: French Guyana.
RedLAC Assembly registration:
All participants are required to fill out the Assembly's online registration form.
RedLAC Assembly participation fee:
Participants that are NOT from a RedLAC member Fund should cover a participation fee of US $200. The payment of this fee must be made directly in the Assembly's registration desk (Nov. 4-5th, 2013), in cash (American dollars or the equivalent in Costa Rican Colones).
Lodging and accommodation:
The Assembly will take place in the Double Tree by Hilton hotel, however there are no longer rooms available. To get more information about where you can stay please write to the RedLAC Secretariat, Ann Marie Steffa ([email protected]).
Each participant must make his or her hotel reservation.
At the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel:
Internet - Wireless internet will be available for free in the Assembly´s meeting room. WiFi in the rooms has a daily cost of US $10 per person, per computer.
Transportation - Transportation between the airport and the Hotel in San Jose is NOT included in the room rate, though the service is offered by the DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton. The cost for this service, which can be paid directly to the driver or it can be charged to the room, is of US $8 per room (single/double /triple) or US $12 for a four person room.
